I always had an interest in drawing, it was my favorite subject at school and growing up I continued drawing on a regular basis.
I started temporary dance and meditation and this led me on an internal and spiritual journey. That is also the time when I started Art School in Girona. This combination brought me new ways of expressing myself through painting.
My painting style is always in evolution. I am always looking for new ways and new techniques to express myself. Nature is one of my biggest inspirations, with all its different shapes and textures, and painters like Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt, Velázquez, Rubens and other grand masters.
I would describe my style as very energetic, intuitive and instinctive. I like to leave things open to chance when I am painting and I am always looking for balance in the chaos.
I am especially interested in figurative art, portraits and nudes, and fascinated about what is going on behind the surface. When observing a portrait, it can feel like looking into a mirror. We tend to project our own emotions and look for elements we recognize within ourselves. I like to focus on people’s imperfections and I am especially interested in people’s inner emotions. For me that is what makes us unique and interesting.
